Wind Sculptures: Kinetic Creations
Artist Hector Valencia melds natural forces of the sun and wind with art to create these dynamic sculptures. The movement of the blades create dancing shadows and glimmering sparkles of light. Painstakingly designed to move in the slightest breeze yet able to withstand rigorous conditions. These majestic pieces in concert with the environment make a breathtaking statement in any setting.

About the Artist
Born in Tucson, Arizona and raised with a blend of Yaqui and Mexican Traditions. My metal art is a reflection of both cultures merged with images of the modern world.
Following in the footsteps of my father - Yaqui Indian artist Hector Sr. - and my uncle - welder Frank Granillo - both with the passion to create beautiful art with only their hands, mind and tools. Now a full-time metal artist, I find myself in more demand from having to attend Arts & Craft shows and working on custom orders. When thinking about making a new piece of art or when inspiration hits me, one thing I always want to incorporate in all my work, is what I call the "Wow Factor". But I don't stop there, I always look for ways to push my metal and mind so I can take my art to the next level. Never settling for less.
